On Thursday, September 25, we’re launching a day of digital and phone action to flood Congress with calls. We are headed for a health care crisis, and we must demand action now.
Without congressional action, millions will lose coverage, premiums will skyrocket, hospitals will face devastating cuts, and hundreds of thousands of health care workers will be laid off. The so-called “Big Beautiful Bill” created this mess, but Congress can fix it.
As Congress debates government funding, we want Congress to know that our health care is not up for debate!
AFSCME will be sending a full list email and a text message to drive actions. We will also be posting on all of our social channels to keep the momentum going.
We need your help to make this action impossible to ignore. Please share the call-in number, push out the graphics, and spread the word to AFSCME members so every member of Congress hears AFSCME loud and clear and so our members know that when it comes to health care, AFSCME never backs down.
